Cisco is working to enable China's repressive laws with their hardware. One of their major bullet points is in helping the nation to expose and suppress members of Falun Gong, a nonviolent, peaceful religion that has been banned by the Chinese Government and its followers jailed, beaten, abducted and killed.
As an IT Professional, I urge others in my field to take note of this and do the right thing. Switch to Vyatta or some other brand that does not actively assist China in culling 'dangerous' members of a peaceful, spiritual path.
