Thanks to everyone who came out to OK Electric 2007 to see my performance last night. It would not have been possible without the dedication of Jake Thomason - Event Coordinator - and others. I encourage you all to join us tonight for the second and final evening of performances.
Many of you had to leave early; It was not communicated to me that AXIS was going to wait nearly an hour to begin their opening set. Some of you drove long distances only to bow out early in order to get safely home. I wish I could refund your money!
Nevertheless, I enjoyed playing the festival and sharing a stage with my good friend Jake Thomason of Terminal Shock. I look forward to seeing you all at my next show - November 24 at The Continental. Special guests TBA.
A NOTE TO THIEVES:
Whoever stole a number of CDs from my merchandise table, I am both flattered and annoyed - flattered that you would be so eager to take my work home with you, and annoyed that you could steal from someone who worked diligently to promote, produce and perform for you - for free. People put in many hours and dollars to provide something good and different for the community, and many of the artists (myself included) donated our earnings from the festival for next year's budget. It's a shame that a few thieves have to leave their territorial pissings all over our efforts. That karma's gonna get you.
