Say No to Drugs & Video Games in the Toilet!

I remember growing up in the height of the "Just Say No" campaign. Everywhere I looked, from large billboards to small plastic urinal deodorizers, you could read Nancy Reagan's famous line. It used to make me laugh to urinate all over the phrase "Just Say No" when taking a piss. It seemed so terribly ironic and poignant.
Just wait til the "Just Say No" campaign gets hold of this technology!
Can you just imagine it? The next generation of kids stacking up points for how well they can control their aim in public toilets? Piss on the junkie!! Just say no!!

Here is a grocery list of items needed for our next big art project. If you can help us with any of these things, or if you will help us find them (in good, working condition. For free or DIRT cheap), we will give you public thank yous and eternal gratitude.
- FOUR (3) 16mm Film Projectors that work!
- 16mm educational films, B-movies, newsreels, cartoons
(NOTE: THEY WILL BE DESTROYED).
- TWO (3) Slide Projectors - the more powerful the better.
At least one 35mm.
- Slides - NOTE: They WILL be destroyed.

On Saturday, March 11, 2006, I was accompanied by Tim Casey on guitar and Pauly Hart on didjeridoo/vocals. DJ Badger supplied the amazing light show, Colleen McPherson supplied the projected artwork, and many others helped to bring this amazing show all together. Below are just a few pics from this event (with more to come)!
(side note - I am actually constantly amazed at how these events seem to fall in place, even when there are technical hitches the vibe always seems to bring everyone's best effort out in front!)
Thanks to everyone who came out to support my show last night! If you missed it... well, these things are a bit like snowflakes. It'll never be quite like this again. You'll just have to come out next time.

Michael Porter Memorial Service

The service will be at Believer's Church (The old "Name Brand Clothing" store) between 41st & 51st on the East side of the road. It will be at 1 o'clock this Friday, March 3.
A Michael Porter memorial fund is being coordinated to help with the cost of cremation, etc. (so rather than flowers, please talk to the family about other ways you can help).
