More Stuff... And ValleySchwag 3
7/06/2006
For the record, I want the Photon Synth AND the LunarModule as well as the Thingyma.... whatzit (see prev. post if you think I'm speaking alien)
Discovering all these neat little sound-making devices is making my mouth water and my eyes light up. Who has this kind of money, though? Sheesh.
Another important announcement
VALLEYSCHWAG 3 HAS ARRIVED!!!
This time, my booty was a little more impressive, making this evening a much more exciting event after the routine of my day job. Here's a pic of me oogling over just a few of my treasures.
Those cookies were fun, though not terribly fresh, and they were compliments of AOL so I'm not entirely thrilled about the source. But still, who doesn't love Superman? Also received some nifty stickers, a laptop/game bag from "MI6" that's very nice (though I don't have a laptop to put in it, sadly), a fortune cookie and a nifty poster for the VS Hoedown in SF that I won't be able to attend, sadly.
If I had a camera, I'd take photos of the rest of the booty, but I don't. So you'll just have to enjoy the pic I made above.
Tonight was also a special night in other ways. I celebrated a friend's birthday in a meaningful way, and we later met up at Saffron to join in the open mic festivities. It was the best open mic I've attended in ages. Lon arrived with his flamenco guitar and asked me to bang out some riddims for 'Belarius.' It was great! I kept up! Then Derek did his wonderful acting and poetry, and Captain read some fantastic verse of his own, followed by myself with a few poems and then the Trio. Afterwards, we were blessed with some great earthy guitar music and the vibe was just incredible there. It was also Jenna's birthday (actually, it's today, but we waited til midnight and brought her a little cupcake with a tea light crammed on top of it, ha!).
To Fae, Captain, Jes, Derek, Jonas, Jeremy, Terry, my wife, Jenna, Mark, Lon, and the rest of the gang, thanks for creating such a great vibe last night!!!! WooHoo!
