Just In Case You Were Wondering

My belief (blink and you'll miss it):
I shudder when the word 'system' is used to present my concept of the nature of the universe, mainly because I try to keep my eyes open for new things and I'm careful not to let my beliefs get 'in the way' of seeing stuff that doesn't fit my concepts. It's tough for me to hand over a set of bullet points and say "this is what I think is going on," because as each day passes, each new discovery either reinforces or shakes up my concepts. Historically, it's been easier to say "I have no real beliefs," which is true in spirit but is not entirely reflective of my experience. So what follows is a highly simplified summary of my 'belief.'
I believe that there is a force that holds it all together, a unified field of experience, creativity, love, wisdom etc. It's what I choose to do with this awareness that defines my spiritual life. I believe everything is working as a unified experience. By everything, I mean time, space, thought, manifestation, and the stuff inbetween; I believe in synchronicity and serendipity. I believe rituals and words can be empowering, and that thought is creative.
I believe that what empowers me also binds me. To my words and actions. I believe that nothing can empower that doesn't exist already inside and out.
To believe that 'God' is beyond, that the 'Devil' is where bad comes from, is the easing of responsibility and the very superstition that robs people of their personal power.
