That's Novachild and Basira on percussion :)One of the great challenges of the evening was the fact that Shades of Brown had us double-booked with another artist, Tim Casey (whom we later discovered is an old acquaintance of Jonas). Wires were crossed. Everybody showed up with a lot of gear, and at the beginning there was some initial confusion. But Jonas Adrian, in his capacity of diplomat extraordinaire, was able to work out an amazing solution. EVERYBODY PLAYS, EVERYBODY WINS! I was thrilled to witness such a serendipitous gathering of musical bliss.
It was a wonderful evening. Josh James was splendiforous, Jonas and Co. were effing brilliant, and Tim Casey was fantastic. I love it when things work out so perfectly!
Good things are happening. Y'all might want to pay attention, LOL.
