Apparently, Apple Computers is the enemy of bloggers everywhere. The Register, Reuters, and the defendants of the case are all citing First Amendment rights. I'll have to check into this. Meanwhile, read the story here.
Apple has instituted legal action against three sites: PowerPage, AppleInsider,
and ThinkSecret. The case has overtones of freedom to blog and First Amendment rights.A central issue is whether the bloggers are journalists.
I don't consider myself a journalist, but that doesn't mean I will ever answer to a Corporation. From what I can see, Apple is just crapping right on their biggest fans' heads.
