Springtime Keeps Me Away

Yes, the inevitable has occurred. Springtime. And with it, the inability to spend nearly as much time sitting behind my computer plugging yet another hole into this journal.
Things get busy this time of year. Spring cleaning, an inner desire to not be cooped up inside, an urge to get things done. Never fear, though. I'm not going away any time soon.
My biggest shock this morning was discovering the fact that DailyKOS, the first blog I read every day, is down. Were they hacked? Were they just overloaded, or are they simply rebooting? I guess we'll have to wait and find out.
Meanwhile, my mind is a clean slate this morning. No anger is stirring; no fires need quelling. Think I'll try to maintain this state for as long as I can. Like coming up from air after so many months of dark, twisted bullshit going on all around. One can hope that the turning of the season brings with it a renewed sense of 'connection' with the world, with nature herself, and may this feeling reverberate in the hearts and souls of every person. May the destruction of ourselves cease for a time, and may we begin to feel a sense of change in the air.
Wouldn't that be nice?
