Bush Gives 10 Grand to Tsunami Relief...
1/05/2005
The Bush family is worth Millions upon Millions of dollars. But President Bushwhacker donates a mere 10 grand to the Tsunami relief.
Hell, novachild.com's meager 25% of CD sales is a larger per-capita contribution. It probably costs that much to press his trousers. What a bastard. But what do we expect from the man who pretty much single-handedly waged a war against Iraq?
Well, here's some GOOD news. RIAA loses another case.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) cannot force Charter Communications Inc. to supply them the identity details of subscribers it alleges to have distributed copyrighted music through P2P networks, a U.S. appeals court ruled. A federal judge issued the subpoenas in 2003 but the appeals court said the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) doesn't allow the RIAA to subpoena Charter for user information because the files at issue aren't stored in the company's computers.
Another win for the little guy.
Another public service announcement from yours truly,
Edward Svengali
