Hello from Nova Design & Print, the All-in-One Service for Bands, Orgs, Businesses. (how’s that sound, guys?)
Not only am I a musician, producer, father, poet, and geek media junkie, but also I am a graphic designer and offset/digital printer. I started a side-business to help keep my family out of debt during this recession we're in.
I just set up a Facebook Page. Go and ‘Like’ it for access to weekly/monthly specials, helpful tips for preparing artwork and planning projects, and personal observations/trivia/fun facts related to print and design.
Tear Cards (tickets)
Books/Manuals (many stitching options)
Trade Show Displays

To request a quote, please use my Contact Form for now. Eventually i will have a site up exclusively for Nova Print & Design. Fortunately, I’ve been keeping so busy filling orders that I haven’t had time for my own stuff. :)
I’m in the process of getting my new music up on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon etc. Thought I’d take the opportunity to redo the album art, since I never fully intended the original to be the de facto version. Without further delay, here it is:
I found this on archive.org searching through old versions of novachild.com. Been looking for a few of these poems for a long while, but the hard copies have long since disappeared. Without further interruption.....
The Body - 8-29-94
The brain is machine a creaking leaking torture device floating in smoke signals
The leader of the feet I dream Symbols float down and determine what dreams are scrolling to the body
a tower a river an ocean
a valley a hollow oak limb
The hands do what they can to break rules and boundaries before they are tied back What the arms can't reach the feet kick dirt upon The body tries to grasp the mind is together, they travel through the vortex becoming alien returning to the ocean at death
My long time friend Jennifer Smith set up a facebook page exclusively for her art, photography, and other creative projects. I thought it would be nice to share to all who happen to wander into my blog.
I spent some time last night working up a business card pattern for a client. I usually make an alternate, a variation/remix of the original. It’s fun to guess which design the client will prefer. I was correct this time round, but I love the alternate, so I just want to share it for fun and posterity.
One happy customer just hired me for business cards, vinyl car window art, and 6 months of site updates. Another sent a check for a new social branding site for his business. Things are looking up, though I could use more work. Let me know if you're in the market for a web site, 75+ shirt run, business card, etc. Or, if you send me a paying customer, I'll give you a credit towards future orders. Thanks!
“Life has a way of eating away at the things that make us "us" unless we find ways to preserve those bits of us. If you have music in your soul, you have to make music...not think about making music, but make it. And music is made to be shared, so share it.”
